ZACHARY STONE

is a 17-year-old drummer/percussionist for the band Grenon. A rock-alt-pop band that performs electric and acoustic. Zach resides in Southern New Hampshire with his parents, 2 cats, and 1 snake. When not filling venues with Grenon, Zachary can be found in his high school’s jazz, concert and marching bands as well as local open mics. He was selected to perform in the NHMEA Mid-Level Honor Band in 2016. The past 10 years have brought quite a few opportunities for Zach to share the stage with many great musicians at many great venues such as Boston’s Faneuil Hall, Hard Rock Café in Boston, and Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Zach has been on WMUR’s NH Chronicle during the filming of the first NH Drum Festival event. He has participated in every NH Drum Fun and Rhythm Fun competition for the past 8 years.

On his 12th birthday, Zach was invited to tour the famous Zildjian factory. Zachary has been lucky enough to lay tracks down for multiple artists in several recording studios around New England. Zach is AVAILABLE for studio sessions. Attending 80+ concerts and hanging out backstage has made it possible to meet over 200 world touring musicians including Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead, Kerry King of Slayer and Brad Whitford of Aerosmith to name just a few. Concerts, fishing, and disc golf are his hobbies when not beating congas, djembes or his Sonor and Ludwig kits. Zachary was also an endorser of Rich Sticks, a custom drumstick company crafted in Brentwood, NH.

Music Inspirations Includes Jon Fishman, Tony Royster Jr., John Bonham, and Buddy Rich.
